GCEL’s Digital Economy Platform was showcased at the INSME 15th Annual Meeting held in Napoli, Italy on June 6, 2019. The theme of the session was entitled: “Fintech & Logistics: New Technologies and Markets for SMEs”.
GCEL’s Co-Chairman Captain Samuel Salloum led a demonstration of how new digital tools can empower greater prosperity for SMEs by reducing their costs and assisting them to gain greater access finance and logistics services towards growing their trade.
The annual meeting was attended by high level government and private sector officials from the OECD, Italian Trade Agency, CONFAPI (Italian SME Association) BVMW (German SME Association), European Investment Fund, DHL Express, and Intesa Sanpaolo, among others.
INSME is a legally recognized not-for-profit association working under the auspices of the OECD that includes the support of 64 Members from 30 different countries. INSME facilitates the innovation of good practices for SMEs including the latest trends and insights on technology transfer and entrepreneurship.
