The South Africa’s Small Enterprise Development Agency (SEDA) and Business Unity South Africa (BUSA) applauded the completion of the South Africa Shipment Efficiency Assessment (SEA) report on November 24, 2017.
The South Africa SEA, performed in cooperation with GCEL, is a comprehensive diagnostic assessment of trade efficiency based on what technology makes possible today.
The attending case study team members included Dr. Oliver Seale, the Executive Director from the University of South Africa, Mrs. Mandissa Tshikwatamba, CEO of SEDA, Mrs. Tanya Cohen, CEO of BUSA, and Mr. Faith Tigere consultant at Tutwa Consulting.
The SEA results revealed that 97.6 percent of U.K. businesses have defined the new digital tools required to increase their global competitiveness in order to reduce annual international and domestic trade cost by USD 19.8 billion, increase their trade by USD 84 billion, and create more than four million jobs.
