The World Logistics Council (WLC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at the Indonesia Stock Exchange with leading Indonesia organizations in Jakarta on July 25, 2019.
Homegrown e-marketplace Bukalapak, finance company Kresna Graha Investama and the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) signed the MOU to deploy the Digital Economy Platform (DEP) through the Asia Benchmark Trade Lane Program.
KADIN is the Indonesia Chamber of Commerce and Industry that is the umbrella organization of Indonesian business chambers and associations. KADIN is focused on all matters relating to trade, industry and services, offering a strategic forum for Indonesian entrepreneurs.
WLC’s DEP empowers Indonesia’s e-Commerce, Finance, and Insurance firms to digitize Indonesia’s businesses providing the opportunity for Indonesia to reduce excess trade cost by USD 104 billion, increase trade by USD 159 billion and create nearly 10.6 million jobs.
