BAHRAIN CONVENES DIGITAL ECONOMY THINK TANK SESSION WITH GCEL

In collaboration with Bahrain’s SME Society, GCEL co-hosted a Digital Economy Think Tank Session in Manama, Bahrain, on October 4, 2017. The event brought together representatives from government institutions, NGOs, trade associations, and the business community.
During the session, GCEL presented how Digital Economy technologies can help diversify Bahrain’s economy by reducing trade costs, improving efficiency, and expanding trade opportunities.
Participants discussed the role of digital transformation in strengthening economic growth and enhancing Bahrain’s competitiveness within the Gulf region.
Dr. Al Dairi, Chairman of the Bahrain SME Society, expressed appreciation for the support provided to the GCEL–Bahrain Think Tank Session and highlighted the importance of continued leadership and collaboration in advancing the Digital Economy across Bahrain and the wider region.
