GCEL PARTICIPATES IN THE FUTURE INVESTMENT INITIATIVE FORUM IN SAUDI ARABIA

GCEL participated in the inaugural Future Investment Initiative (FII), held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from October 24–26, 2017. The event was held under the patronage of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and inaugurated under the leadership of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Chairman of the Council of Economic and Development Affairs and the Public Investment Fund.
The FII brought together global leaders to explore the future of investment, economic transformation, and innovation. The forum was built around three themes: shifting centers of power, the new investment paradigm, and innovation for a better world.
Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, one of the world’s leading sovereign wealth funds, organized the initiative as a platform to examine emerging trends, opportunities, and industries expected to shape the global economy in the coming decades.
During the forum, GCEL presented how Digital Economy solutions can support national diversification strategies by digitizing the B2B marketplace and strengthening key sectors including manufacturing, agriculture, and financial services.
