NORWAY PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SECTOR LEADERS CONVENE DIGITAL ECONOMY THINK TANK SESSION WITH GCEL

On November 20, 2017, GCEL and Civita co-hosted an “Empowering the Digital Economy” Think Tank session in Oslo, Norway, bringing together leaders from government, industry, and policy organizations.
Civita is a Norwegian liberal think tank dedicated to promoting ideas, institutions, and policies that support individual liberty, personal responsibility, and economic development.
Participants included representatives from the Norwegian Tax Authority, Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise, Norwegian Shipowners Association, Agency for Public Management and e-Government, Trade and Employers Association, Finans Norge, Enterprise Federation of Norway Innovation, and the Directorate of Norwegian Customs.
Discussions focused on how Norway can leverage the Digital Economy to strengthen economic diversification, enhance competitiveness, and support sustainable long-term growth.
